This procedure allows you to showcase the latest updates, including announcements and information.
It involves two steps:
Step 1: create a "News" page
- Access the News Page Creation Interface:
- Click on "Content" in the admin menu. Select "Add Content" and choose "News."
- Enter the News Title
- Customize the Hero Banner:
- Add a Title.
- Add an image or video at the top of the page. Include text and a CTA button if needed.
- Set Content Push:
- Add an image and a short description that will appear on the hub page.
- Add Content to the News Page:
- Provide the main text of the news article. Add any relevant links, images, videos, or other media.
- Add Extra Components:
- Include blocks like a related articles section, embedded multimedia, or additional interactive elements.
- Save Your Changes and change the status to "Published".
Step 2: Create a "hub page" for news
- Create a Page: Use the "Page" content type.
- Add News Listing Component: Choose "News Listing."
- Display Options:
- Block: Displays news in a traditional block layout.
- New Category as Argument: Filters news by categories.
- Title Field: Add a title above the news listings (e.g., "Latest News").
- Compact Display: Enable for a horizontal layout without content push details (images and descriptions).
- Save your changes and change the status to "Published".
